A Brief History Of Bunnyhood

Post  Chiroptera on Fri Jun 27, 2008 2:41 pm

Ours is a history of disparate groups, wanderers and visionaries.

It started with a group of youngsters, still in flight school.
They outlined their plan for security and prosperity and decided on the North Pardus Rim.

There was no alliance, there was no leader, but still they went forth.

The galaxy was a desolate place back then, no economy, planets too small to support the needs of too many pilots. These pilots had to create their own future out of absolutely nothing. They settled in Betiess, intent on building a home, but they were not the only ones who sought protection here...

Small bands of traders were the hallmark of the early NPR and when they discovered each other they jealously guarded their holdings. One such group was led by Serpent Venon; they sought greatness and brooked no interference just like our heroes. Though there were several skirmishes, it was decided that each group had similar goals and in an act uncharacteristic of it's age, they merged and joined forces.

A large group laid claim to their new home and both sides mustered what forces they could and did battle. This conflict forged the character of our heroes proto-alliance and immortalized it's oldest warriors; Serpent Venon, Lancelotv and Captain Cool gained several victories against the other group's fighters led by Syhon, Thrax and Papa Smurf. Within a day the superior organization of our intrepid heroes prevailed and the other group sent forth the diplomat, Chiroptera, to make peace.

They now knew who they were, their destiny was clear and none would stand in their way. They were Bunnies.

So began the Fluffy Bunny Initiative.

Captain Cool was chosen to form this great alliance and lead it on the first part of its journey.
Wasting no time, FBI partnered with their old enemies, now organized into the alliance Cotorie Vex, to build Betiess and the supporting economy in surrounding sectors. In short order the nooks in Daaya and Enaness were secured and construction started on several starbases. The North Pardus Rim began to prosper.

Such was the resolve of the Bunnies that others in the area began to seek other fortunes. Cotorie Vex's leadership splintered into small groups; Thrax left for the Union, Papa Smurf and Chiroptera asked for admission into the new Bunny Nation and Syhon shifted his alliance to Remo.

FBI grew so fast that work was quickly divided amongst many leaders instead of one; the legendary Fellina Starbacks arrived to take command of military forces, Akillingbee was set in charge of the economy and Serpent Venon given the task of organizing the vast starbase construction program.
The exploits of these immortal elder Bunnies border on the mythical.
Akillingbee provided such countless profits that all that we see today in our home bears his signature. Serpent Venon and his crew built The Boiled Bunny (under Akillingbee's command) in the month after FBI's formation, 6 more the following month and 7 more before the alliance was 6 months old. Fellina Starbacks arranged armaments for 7 MOs and fighter escorts for their construction and that of all 14 bases before a single Hawk flew in the galaxy.
But by far the most profound effect on Bunnies and their future, was the visionary leadership of Captain Cool. To this point FBI was still a collection of individuals and small groups working against a common enemy: time. Word came of giant alliances forging huge empires in other clusters and it was only a matter of time before FBI would have to face them or lose their Carrot Patch. To unite his Bunnies, Captain Cool chose the leaders of each group to be FBI's seniors. Many of these pilots were new, untested and critical of FBI, but elder Bunnies they became: Serpent Venon, Chiroptera, Papa Smurf, Fellina Starbacks, Akillingbee, Victor Blue, Sinful, Aksofpanovia, Unakrakesh. With this chain unity was able to flow from leadership to elders to those that followed them until a time came when each group no longer served itself, but rather all Bunnies; and the only group that remained was FBI.

This is the spirit of Bunnyhood.

more to come

I started a pirate alliance. Then we attacked a pilot from the FBI named Ama. Then we got a beating for CC.

ANyway i turned from them when i realised that we sucked and the FBI was way better. Most of them turned away after, although many of the remander became major pirates.

I was a new pilot, looking for a mentor. A forum post was replied to by Koxinga, saying he was part of a group intent on settling Enaness. I headed for the sector from emp space, and found a smattering of buildings, making a couple credits trading from the brewery to Ururur.

While en route to the sector, however, I was told there was a leadership change. Our small group led by Thrax had joined some group led by Captain Cool. After a day or two of trading I found new buildings and MO's, actually blocking me access to Enaness. This mysterious Captain Cool was hesitant about letting me in, being unaware of my previous role.

Sinful and I actually met when my rustclaw saw a mysterious ship in the nook, and I interrogated her as to her purpose. Despite a heated introduction, she revealed she was of the same group. After a few missteps practicing telerobbing on pirates, I was foed and bountied my a surprising amount of people, and thus restarted my life as Prole. A rashkir who once again rushed to the aid of Enaness.

In my time with the Bunny nation I have seen the rise and fall of many brave bunnies, aided in any ways I could, traded, poked, fought (and usually died) for the bunnyhood. I am loyal to the bunnyhood, to the point where I have plotted and schemed, not out of treasonous reasons, but out of the belief that Loyalty to the bunnyhood comes before loyalty to those who've led us.

This is so fun to read and remember happy
Here is the story about our stack ambush under the SB in WO in the times it was still a TO and Vendetta was our biggest enemy Wink

2007/08/01 - 13:58
Fellina Starbacks attacked and defeated Katuman Kaiku

The first pirate I iced was Katuman Kaiku, he is a pirate of the Vendetta alliance. Unfortunately for him I was skilling on some X-Squads in the area while the poor bastard got stuck in open space with no APs.

lol.. I took my time finishing him round by round, it was pure fun Wink

His response was:

From: Katuman Kaiku 2007/08/01 - 14:01:06
Subject:
How did i know that was going to happen??? but you did take your time about it :p

~~

In recent occurrence I was asked to watch out for The Compostor TO in WO 3-290. Apparently an alliance name "The Candyman" (sounds a bit foolish I admit) has decided to claim this sector in spite of the obvious fact that The Comoptor's TO was standing there for over a week. They tried to build another TO right next to ours (Can you believe that?!) but naturally it was demolished at the same day.

2007/08/02 - 12:36 Chekist destroyed a Trading Outpost owned by Cassandra Aegwynn.

So, I found myself hiding with my lovely purple VDC under the Compostor's TO waiting for candies, along with our fearsome leader and some of the other masculine pilots of the FBI for the first 24 hours... Ssshhh... ambush. Needless to say the smell wasn't the greatest :?

2007/08/02 - 23:09 Fellina Starbacks attacked and defeated Speransk.
2007/08/02 - 23:09 Fellina Starbacks caught Speransk.

First to pay us a visit was Speransk, the guy is a known pirate who just happened to find him self at the wrong place and time.

Response I got for this matter:

From: Blackadder 2007/08/03 - 01:30:35
Subject:
thanks for killing that pirate. Smile I hope the job wasn't to difficult. (as if Wink)

~~

2007/08/03 - 02:48 Fellina Starbacks attacked and defeated Frog.

Second to come along was Mr. Frog, finally a real candyman. It took me 16 rounds to tear his ship to pieces and send his ass back home in his ePod.

No comments from this one, I guess he understood the lesson Smile

~~

2007/08/03 - 20:27 Fellina Starbacks attacked and defeated Olaff Grettenbough.

Next on the list was another Candy wimp, but apparently something very wrong happened to him on the way as he had only 117 point on his hull and that's it

~~

2007/08/04 - 07:41 Fellina Starbacks attacked and defeated Plano.
2007/08/04 - 13:18 Fellina Starbacks attacked and defeated Tempyst.

Through the next day two of my lovely sisters (Sin and Chi) came to replace the boys and relieved me from their unpleasant odour.
Unfortunately the two encounters above were with rusty pilots that seemed to be quite innocent... bad luck I guess...

~~

2007/08/04 - 18:13 Fellina Starbacks attacked and defeated Shadowice.

Shadowice was the third candy boy who came to visit us and so far is the last, I believe they won't try to mess with us anymore (I hope not though)

~~

2007/08/05 - 01:28 Fellina Starbacks attacked and defeated Sting.

This Vendetta pirate was pretty surprised and awfully mad after he saw one of my missiles coming up his @...

His automatic response was:

From: Sting 2007/08/05 - 01:36:58
Subject:
WTF i just walked over your TO thats Bull shit

Don't worry you will get it oh yes you will

Ooohhh... scary. Naturally I responded:

To: Sting 2007/08/05 - 05:15:55
Subject: Re:
Don't walk over our TO's it's not safe!!

And don't threaten me, I don't appreciate it tongue

~~

2007/08/05 - 08:47 Fellina Starbacks attacked and defeated Togarmah.

Last on the list so far, I guess, was another innocent poor bastard.
I just hope there was a way to alert all these fools

~~

As for now I am still lurking with my Viper under the damn TO waiting anxiously for it to become a SB, So beware...
